If we win NIT, we should definitely start the year in the top 25. Then, up to our play, to move up the rankings.

If the season ended right now, would we be? I don't know. Yes, we should. But who knows.

Pocono- I think you mean the 2015 class. I'm not too concerned about the experience gap you mentioned- Markus and Nic will be seniors that year and Sterling will likely have two years of starting experience under his belt. Keith and Ben will be juniors with lots of experience as well.

Yes, 2015 class. I stand corrected. I still consider Cannen and MK to be forwards and not centers in my way of thinking.

ESPN has Jordan Tolbert listed at 6'7" 225lbs. Shawn Williams 6'7" 230lbs. Markus Kennedy 6'9" 245lbs.

Trying to figure out what position Jordan will play next season. I am guessing that since Shawn Williams is graduating, Jordan will play his position, PF (if he earns starter's minutes in practice)? Jordan seems pretty active with offensive and defensive rebounds, dunks, and put backs. His skill set appears to be more suited to play PF closer to the basket. I really wish LB would play MK at either PF or SF instead of Center. We have other guys who can play Center (Yanick or Cannen).

Bottom line is that someone will need to play Shawn Williams's minutes. Will it be Jordan Tolbert, Ben Moore, Cannen Cunningham or Yanick Moriera? Happy that LB will have options at the 3, 4 and 5. Should be a lot of competition. Really hope that LB plays a bigger lineup next season, putting MK at the 4, Tolbert at the 3 and either Yanick or Cannen at the 5.

Realistically if next season's lineup is anything like this season's lineup we will probably end up playing a 3 guard lineup next season with Emmanuel, Nic, and Sterling/Frazier and 2 Bigs. Big things are happening on The Hilltop!

from a Tech friend: Tolbert has probably been our best “athlete” on the court for the past two years. He’ll make plays that make your jaw drop, but then you’ll see him play an entire half lazily. We did beat 8 tourney teams this year and he was a big part of that. I would have to think he would be worth it if he seriously commits to Brown to play hard and listen.

He is talking about you saying you would play MK at 3. No one but you thinks he is a 3.

That isn't bad at all. BM will come back next year stronger and will be starting over JT, I think. He has good potential as an mid-range shooter and would provide good spacing with Kennedy when we need it, which was a real problem at times with Shaun. KF will bulk up as well, which will improve his inside game offensively and defensively.

We obviously need one more guard for depth. It needs to be a scorer. Jump shooter is nice, but we need one more player who can put up points. SB and RM are nice, but they are never going to put up huge points and be an additional scoring option.

The biggest loss we have going into next year is NR's perimeter defense. Someone is going to have to take that role. SB might be able to be that guy, but that and the dependance on a true frosh being a major part of the team is why I would put us at top 25 going into the season but not necessarily top 15. I would want to see how the results on the court work out before giving that sort of bump.
