He's one of the great ones. The game is a loser in this one.

Hopefully he enjoys (and can handle) his retirement.

Seems like quite a gentlemanly type.

In Cal's last timeout of the basketball game, as tense as everyone must have been in that atmosphere, he shut up his players by calmly saying "please be quiet."

Monty was a great coach and is a legend in the Bay Area, having coached Stanford, Cal, and Golden State
