I'll second that. Unfortunately, I had to dvr it for the spousal unit. She kept texting me every 5 minutes in the second half for the score. Just listen to Coach Brown, the message from Bobby Knight and Markus was listening, 21 points, what a performance. Masterful coaching in the last minute. Congrats to the team!

I made the comment that (our veterans in particular) choked like dogs in that 1st half. Big Nick had one of his worst games, but hit the clutch FTs when we needed them

Cannot believe what a year this has been. Best ever in my memory. Now that I think about it, I can't believe we're still playing basketball

only team that comes close in 45 years is Kato Armstrong's 1988 SWC Champions, SWC Tourney Champs and beat Notre Dame in Tourney. Duke beat us right in second round. Very clutch team that made everyone proud all year. I think they won more games than any team in SMU history-29 right? But that doesn't compare to excitement around program now

I was living in Durham when we played that "sub regional" in Chapel Hill; highlight of the Notre Dame game was Kato blowing by David Rivers, driving down the lane and slamming in the face of Notre Dame's big man

The D in the second half was the best Ihave ever seen at any level. The D won that game. Great D that just flat shut down Clemson.

Totally agree. When they play D like that it truly is "fun" to watch defense which isn't often said. They get in passing lanes so well and contest every shot. As Bobby Knight was praising the defense, SMU had a lapse that Knight said was the only lapse in defense he'd seen in the second half. He was right and there wasn't one lapse after that point either. Great win. GO PONIES!!!!!
Here's to those that wish us well and all the rest can go to hell!!!
