Sad!
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!
For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

When you compare our additional incremental cost to certain other Texas schools, absolutely.
Try selling a TCU or Baylor business degree to a Wall Street investment firm.

Actually, TCU's doing quite well on the investment side. They have their act together far better than Cox. I would love for Cox to steal a couple of their profs.SoCal_Pony wrote:When you compare our additional incremental cost to certain other Texas schools, absolutely.

Pony up!

Amazing to think how high the cost of a degree is getting relative to it's decreasing utility. The good news is that these days a college degree is table stakes and everyone is in a similar boat.
Re: SMU cost 2014-2015 $60,586
it is important to remember that a VAST majority of students pay nowhere near rack rate
as GT points out SMU has a very generous financial aid package
http://www.dallasnews.com/news/educatio ... argain.ece
At $61,355 this year, SMU’s sticker price rivals Georgetown’s. But three-fourths of SMU freshmen receive grants or scholarships that are worth about $25,000 on average.
the funny thing is the class warfarians should love this because it means those of means are paying more for the same exact product and those of means are also subsidizing those of lesser means
but they will always ignore that fact and instead concentrate on the total dollar factor and OUTRAGE!!!!!

If that's so, I wonder then, is our competition really not University of Phoenix or ITT, and not TCU, UT.NY Pony wrote:Amazing to think how high the cost of a degree is getting relative to it's decreasing utility. It is not that out of line with other medium sized urban privates. That is the price of playing poker these days. Besides, only the dummies pay full price.
Back off Warchild seriously.
