Dude, they have always offered kids from DeSoto but they did not hardly come by to visit the school and build relationships with the coaches. Same with Cedar Hill in the past.

DeSoto is 45 miles south of St. Louis off Interstate 55 on Hwy 21. And, about 18 mile NNE of Potosi, where Stephen F. Austin, Father of Texas came from.

As I recall, the recruiting coach for that area, Morrison, didn't even know that was his area to recruit!
