He did a terrific job of getting us into the Big 12.

It was between us and TCU, and UT hated TCU less than they hate us. Plus Rose Bowl and 10 win seasons help.

You're right. This board pretty much sucks. Don't know what happened but it's not surprising given that it's the same 30 who argue amongst themselves. Ridiculous.

Or if you get corrected on your grammar or are lectured that you posted something that was already posted, it makes for such weak sauce.

My advice for the grammar police is if I'm using it's when it should be its or their instead of they're, mind your own bleeping business and don't tell me how it's suppose to read. Get over it and read something else because if I'm going to get corrected, I'm going to tell you to do something that is anatomically incorrect.

And let TCWho rise to national prominence while we wallowed in the muck with Bennet and whoever was trying to coach bball at this time. Nice guy, but no friend of athletics or athletes.

So he was clearly responsible for allowing TCU to rise to its current level. This is all his fault. Do you understand how incredibly narrow minded that appears?

Do me a favor. Either post with smarts or stop posting.

Pick one.

I hope no one is seriously posting that President Turner is a huge supporter of athletics. I don't harbor resentment toward him, but it's not hard to see how things would be different if we had a president who was passionate about elevating the athletic program.
