Was there an email that went out to season ticket holders?

Yes, mine went from $240 per to $400 per and the donation went from $250 to $500.

Yeah, that is just normal inflation...

Your donation will stay the same as last year. Increase is only for new ticket holders.

right. If you are a season ticket holder, you will not have to make a donation. But, if you want to add any new seats or move to a new section, a big donation is waiting for you.

At least that's what I'm getting from it

Good catch! I think I will up the donation anyhow. I would quite frankly like to see the money flow to the Mustang Club through donations rather than jacking up the ticket prices. Would like to at least be able to take the write off!

bottom line-you have to join the Mustang Club unless you are a student or in the endzone rafters. That's the price for a small private school trying to play at a higher level these days. I still think the per game cost -especially if you allocate donation between football and basketball-is very fair in comparison to other sports/entertainment. For example, I've got great premium seats in both Football and Basketball-relatively similar (inside 40s/midcourt) and football tickets will run about $90 per ticket per game while basketball tickets will be a tad under $30 per ticket per game.

Going to be hard to the common-man to get season tickets next year. Those extra seats are going to be gobbled up by last years ticket holders and mustang club members.

That is a good thing. Mustang Clubbers and season ticket holders should get first crack and yes it is going to be a tough ticket. Let's enjoy it while it lasts!

They point out that the mustang club donation for football doesn't apply to basketball. But they don't say if the donation for basketball doesn't count for football :).

I am glad I am grandfathered in on this one. The ticket prices are absolutely fine, but paying the donation per-seat and then having another donation for football is pretty expensive for the average fan.

My biggest fear in this is that there will be more corporations purchasing tickets, and the atmosphere will suffer.

As long as the students are still there we will be ok. But yes, that worries me as well. Also, visiting fans will be very small and won't be able to get tix. I don't know if this is a good or bad thing. I enjoyed Cincy/Memphis fans being loud and then silent the 2nd half

You might as well understand and prepare yourself for it happening. The ticket office will take care of their corporate sponsors just like any other place. And they will get the best tickets available before any little 5K a year donor, just how it works. As others have said, "it's pure capitalism." Gotta keep the corps and sponsors happy as to not pull their dollars that they will be putting in there net year. There will be plenty of sponsors that need those tickets for clients.
