Saw where he retweeted people's posts on Twitter about coming to SMU....seems like we're the frontrunner for him at the moment.

I am hoping that we get Jordan Cornish. Watched a few youtube highlight videos and was impressed with his stroke from outside. He looked confident on the floor. I am hoping that he is even better than the small sample size of high school highlight and AAU youtube video highlights.

The thing that I noticed was that almost every highlight on each of his videos he was wide open, I mean wide open. Does anyone know of any Jordan Cornish highlight videos where he actually has someone playing defense against him? Maybe I am missing something, but it is not that difficult for an elite SG to hit wide open twos and threes. If you do not have anyone guarding you, you can look really, really good. I am sure that a good SG with little to no defense can look elite.

I don't know why any athlete would put their low lights in their highlight reel so yeah most look good on tape.... unlike our football staff, our basketball coaches have likely met or scouted out these players and determined whether or not they're truly legit or not...

Heard he rescheduled his Nebraska visit for Wake.... I'd be furious to lose him to WF after their [deleted] AD took part in shafting us with the tourney snub.

Actually what you noticed is one of the reasons I think he is a great fit for us. We need a guy who isn't afraid to knock down a wide open three. Other than Nic, how many times did you scream " for god sakes take that" last season? Keith, Sterling, Ryan, etc....none of them seemed to have the needed shooter's confidence....(not that they should). We need THAT guy.

Keith Frazier would pull the trigger EVERY time he touched the ball if LB would give him the green light

Brown said at one point he wanted Frazier to keep shooting even when he was missing.

Visit schedule for Cornish:

Wake this weekend
Nebraska next weekend
SMU May 17 for the last visit.

Very good that we get the last visit. He is apparently deciding after those 3 visits.

Not sure I wanted Manuel to shoot a 3.
