I think Ojai is just a HUUGGGEEEEEE homer who can't take his SMU blinders off about anything SMU related. He probably thinks SMU is better than Harvard, Garret Gilbert will be better than Aaron Rodgers and SMU would beat Duke, Kentucky and Kansas 8 or 9 times out of 10.

Guys, it's very simple:
1 - We have been terrible in both sports for 25 years. Pardon me for being pessimistic and needing to be PROVEN wrong. The bball team did that for me this year.
2 - I hate UH (95-21).
3 - Very disappointed and depressed about our lack of FB recruiting. Waste of the gold mine we are sitting on.
Markus Kennedy will be a top 15 type post player in the country next year or should be. He'll be playing on a profile top 15 type club. He has requisite size, and a developing skill set, tht may be more developed than we know. Of course he's going to test the waters next year. ARe you people effin nuts?
As for Houston vs cheering for your conference for rpi reasons, stop being a stat/fantasy dork. Hate your rivals, always cheer against them, take care of your own business. It's so soft cheering for a rival just b/c it may bump some dumb computer number. Thats like starting your arch enemies defense in fantasy football. If I'm relegated to cheering for a foe, just because of computer ranking system, I've lost touch.

Agree with Ojaipony - our regression in football after 7 years with JJ is so sad. We are going to get thrashed. It's just so sad to see how pitiful we are in FB while sitting on a recruiting gold mine.
Why wouldn't both MK and Nic test the waters? Just don't sign an agent. You get one shot for input, why wouldn't you take it? That said, anyone saying they're gone for sure has a better crystal ball than God.
