Northwest Florida State, that's a JUCO, right?

I think it is up and kind of to the left of Florida State.

I believe it's the JUCO that Steve Forbes has been coaching at. If so, this kid will be well-drilled

I assumed all state schools are four year schools. I was once wrong before though

Northwest Florida State College located is located in Niceville, Florida (no, really that is the city's name) and is just across the bay from Destin, Florida. It is a four year accredited college that just a few years ago was Okaloosa Walton CC. Both as a JUCO and state college has produced pretty good talent. Don't follow them, so can't opine on the kid's talent.

Is this really a transfer since the player is from a college that is a JUCO or simply a late 2014 signing?

The college offers both "associate" degrees and "baccalaureate" degrees, so how are they classified ? Beats me.

Here is an article about him, plus a 6'10 post player coming back after being kicked out of UC a couple of years back.

Lawrence has been a disappointment. Maybe a change will be good for him. I'm sure Cincinnati will replace him with an upgrade.

He was in JUCO and will play this season

“@JonRothstein: UC staff is excited about JUCO transfer Farad Cobb's ability to make 3's. Bearcats need to extend D from PG like they did w Cashmere Wright.”
