I was really impressed with McQuaid. He's as advertised as a lights out shooter, has more size than Grandstaff too, which should help him on defense. Austin was really pressing in the game I saw, but he's a good player who can get his own shot off easier than McQuaid I think. I'm still happy we got McQuaid, he should be a rotation player for 4 years for us. Got to see the Plano West kids on The Titans too. Hogg is still my favorite. Davis looked pretty good, but you can tell he's not all the way back from knee surgery. Between Davis and Elijah...JMO but I'd prefer Elijah. He still had a cast on his left hand, but he was there hanging out. Also saw Julius Randle and Myles Turner (with his Copeland Longhorns bucket hat). Glad I got to hang out yesterday, it was a lot of fun. Wish I had more time to catch other games too.

Doesn't bother me, and yeah I agree, having a stud team using it can only help. Just thought it interesting.. you definitely don't see pirating of trademarks like you used to. I noticed my old high school does not use the Detroit Lions logo anymore, and it kinda sucks.

I was really impressed once again with DJ Hogg against Team Penny yesterday. He is a very good passer especially on fast break. This is the first time I have seen Davis play, and he looked great. As little actual game experience as Davis has. look out once he gets top notch college coaching! Mickey Mitchell had a rough game. I am about to watch more of Texas Titans and this Trier kid on the Cube. Very impressed with this Cube thing!

Is Mitchell at least looking healthy? I'm not too concerned about his play, that's to be expected after a year and a half of not being able to play

He looked healthy to me and looked like he got his explosiveness off the dribble back.

Why didn't Elijah Thomas play for Texas Elite?

OBF, Mitchell recovered nicely from the game I referenced. The next two games I saw, he was breaking down the defense on drives and making some really nice dishes to Hogg for 3 pointers and shots off the elbow. Mitchell and Hogg work beautifully together, would be a real treat to see them go to same college. Mitchell will make a great point forward or even some point guard in college.
If I get time, I will try to post some clips of them working together.
Plano West is going to be can't miss BBall this year.

Oh I agree. That team is beyond loaded. Looks about like the football team most years. Soso is even a solid bball player, just all-around good collection of talent. I can't believe they were knocked out of the state tournament, I find that shocking. I will be in Dallas this winter for sure and definitely going to watch them. I'll see many of them on the circuit this summer too. As for Mitchell, I couldn't be excited. I'll never forget the first time I saw him, I legitimately thought he may jockey for the top spot in 2015. Rare to see a guy that big be able to see the floor so damn well and be so explosive off the wing. As for Hogg, that kid is just a bonafide scorer at all 3 levels. If SMU can keep him home, would be an absolute coup. I wish OSU didn't have so many combo guards cause I would've liked Thad to give him a serious look. The one I am surprised that Ohio State isn't recruiting is Tyler Davis. Thad needs bigs pretty badly, this guy is a teammate of a commit, makes no sense to me. I'm about to get some guys on the phone and try to figure out what that's all about, Thad must really not like his game or something considering how desperately OSU needs the bigs right now. Also somewhat ironic that Elijah Thomas holds an offer and Ohio State is after him hard when I think both are great talents.

I was okay with most of what you said but Plano West Football is not typically that good. That whole district gets steamrolled by Allen every year, and Plano West is usually towards the middle of the pack. I can't recall them making it past the early rounds of playoffs for several years. That being said, Soso Jamobo is a top-notch running back recruit and will probably have his pick of schools. I know nobody cares about my Plano high school rivalry [deleted] but I just couldn't let that slide. As for the basketball team, yes they should be loaded this year as they were last year. They lost Avery Johnson Jr. but return pretty much everyone else including the finally eligible Tyler Davis. Should be fun to watch.

Made it to the quarterfinals in 2012. That's the furthest they've ever been. Usually a first round exit.

Geez didn't realize they got that far in 2012. Allen still won the district and state championships that year...bastards.
