SMU football camps for recruits -- all in Dallas

Postby B1GPonyFan » Tue May 20, 2014 8:46 am

They are June 1 10 am-1pm, June 3 6-9 pm, June 4 6-9 pm, July 23 6-9 pm and July 27 10 am-1 pm

Saw a tweet where Tyler Lee 2016 QB Tyler Ross said he was going to go to one. I have no idea who he is.

These one-liners really aren't working.

I understand. Not every joke is a winner. If I had a joke that crashed and burned, I'm sure I would be told about it. Just keep working.

What did you mean when you said you had no idea who he was right after you said his name, his school, his position and his graduating class? What else could you possible need to have some idea who he is?

hope their camps produce more results than their 'Texas recruiting blitz'.

I thought he was on first base.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Seriously, did you forget what you had typed in the immediately preceding sentence or did you mean to say something else in the last sentence? I am curious.

I'm going to venture a guess that he meant he didn't know anything about the kid (caliber of player, likelihood he will be a mustang etc). But I thought the one liners were pretty clever ;)

Are those Junior Day camps for 2016 prospects?

Does anyone know when other schools hold their camps? Are we early? Late? And do most schools hold them on campus or do they travel around to various locations?
