I don't want to see it unless its a early season or holiday tournament with solid teams. We need to play the return games of home and home OOC at Moody.

You're not just limited to home-and-home series. . . You can do a neutral-and-neutral site series too. Use SMU-Florida as an example. . . You could do SMU neutral site as the American Airlines Center. And Florida could do Tampa's St Petersburg Times Forum (or whatever the hell the arena is called now) as Florida's neutral site. . . If you look at the top basketball programs, that's the direction basketball games are going. Going away from home-and-home series, and more to neutral-and-neutral series.

Keep home games at Moody, play some Neutral site games against Baylor, TCU, UT etc at American Airlines.

Totally agree with this. Maybe do Illinois with the return trip in Chicago, or Syracuse at MSG, or UVa/Maryland in DC. Great way to expand your brand and get exposure in big recruiting hotbeds.

I'm selfish and want as many games at Moody as possible.

I have absolutely no desire to play Texas at the AAC. Make em play at Moody if we're gonna play em.

If it's Texas, screw them. Make them come to campus, and then sell it out with SMU season ticket holders so the tea sippers have to watch their short horns get pimp-slapped crowding around the 3 TVs that actually get the Longhorn Network. Other marquee teams, let's be open minded, but f*ck Texas. Drill them by 30 at Moody.

We would need ear surgeons on standby right after the game.

Those chicken hawks would never play us there. We will have to take our enjoyment out of thrashing them in the tourney if we can somehow be lucky enough to get in the same bracket.

Texas "championship " tourney in the early season: Horns, Baylor, Ags and Ponies slugging it out annually.

Add Tech and TCU and I could see this being a fun tournament. Although I would prefer to have the frogs at Moody...

No. Never play outside of Moody for home games.

Why? All the big name programs play neutral games outside their home arena. Duke plays "home" games in Charlotte & Greensboro. Same with North Carolina. Michigan St & Michigan play games in Auburn Hills, Michigan (Detroit Pistons arena). Indiana plays "home" games in Indianapolis. UCLA plays "home" games in Anaheim, California. . . If SMU wants to put its "big boy pants" on, and market itself as a "national brand." They need to start playing these type of games at the AAC.

If teams want to play us, they come to Moody. Period. Just my opinion.
