No offense to Ark St. or SHSU but I would really rather see TCU and Baylor on the schedule in their place.

On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

I don't think we've fallen so far that we have to give Ark St a 2 for 1 home/home. I doubt we play them in 2007

what happened to Northwestern? I thought we played in Evanston in '07. We don't need either SHSU or Ark St.

we dropped Wake and Northwestern in favor of a more "regional" (aka winnable) schedule.

As for the simple economics of it, I expect we pay Ark St and Sam Houston less than those BCS schools and I'm not sure we will draw any worse than we would have for Wake or Northwestern. I do think UNT is a good game for us to schedule. Keep TCU, Baylor and UNT in the roation as much as possible!

I thought I read the first Arkansas St. game was moved up a year from 2007 to 2006.

That might be why we have 5 games in 2007 instead of 4. Aights good deal will edit that.

We better start at least 3-1 against a schedule like that. If we are going to lose, I'd rather see us lose to A&M or Boston College than North Texas Teachers' College, Denton Ryan High, and UT-Permian Basin.
