Actually, Kimball was pretty "dirty" when Goree was coaching there. . . Like the old saying goes: "Like father, like son!"

As long as you're calling it as you see it.

LA Mustang I'm not sure what your point is with me? Do you disagree with me that what these coaches and administrators did was stupid or is it something else?

Over the years I've known several people involved with the DISD (athletic side and academic side) and the major issues they face. The district has many problems, that's no secret, some are self-inflicted and some out of their control, but there are plenty of great teachers and students who get overshadowed by the district's public perception and the frequent school board/admin dust ups. It just bothers me when I hear people say "oh, that's the DISD for you" or when you suggest a slogan that paints the district negatively with a broad brush. Maybe you do know the challenges and you're informed on you opinion of the DISD?

I have friends who's kids attended DISD schools and friends that use to teach in the DISD until they finally quit out of frustration. Having talked to them about the DISD, I do have some ideal what is happening. There are teachers in the DISD that bust their butts to teach and make a difference in a kids life and thankfully there are kids that are excelling and doing well. But when you have what seems like one scandal, problem or however you care to label them after another, it does seem like "that is the DISD for you".

Welp! There goes "Snoop" Johnson. . . Told you he wouldn't be far behind his father & brother as far as former employment with the DISD.

Really starting to get ugly now. . . DMN is now naming starting to name players, and where they live in relation to the school they attend. . . Including a player SMU is after, Admon Gilder.
