National championship hopes and dreams are fine, but it's laughable as an expectation. It takes so many things to make that run. When my other squad climbed the mountain, they had to roll Indiana, uConn, Kentucky, Kansas etc. the stars have to align for anyone, including the blue bloods.

I tend to agree. Though I think we are in the conversation, so many things can go wrong. I think a sweet 16 is a very realistic goal and if things fall our way, we could make the FF.
When will I start feeling stimulated??

He was at City Winery in Manhattan about three weeks ago. Amazing show. He's far better now than he's ever been. As for the Hamptons…Willie played a surprise free show at Surf Lodge in Montauk last summer.
Outdoors, on the water, fits about 200….and another 200 in kayaks. That was a good day.

I don't think that will happen. . . As much as Larry Brown demanded from the team last year. He'll demand even more from the team this year to focus on their goal. Also, even though Larry won't come out and publically say it. Behind the scenes, he will use the NCAA snub as one of the team's focus.

SMU plays in an exempt pre-season tournament @ Indiana Hoosiers. Figure SMU will be staying in Indianapolis for that tournament. Wouldn't be at all surprised Larry Brown has the team visit Lucas Oil Stadium (site of the 2015 Final Four), and use that as another goal for the players. . . But, it's like Hoopmanx said. A lot has to go right for any team to win a championship. No injuries, grades issues, etc. etc. . . I will say this. The talent is in place, and the coaching is damn well in place to see SMU in Indianapolis for the Final Four.

Hoop, I would say especially the favored programs. Rarely does the favored team win, and rarely do all #1's make it to the FF. I completely understand the excitement building around the team (I'm right there with ya), but it's a punch to the junk to have your highly skilled team run into some gimmicky D or crazy hot PG and fall flat early in the tourney. It's just better to enjoy the ride and be thankful for every post season opportunity the team gets. Not telling others how to view it, just speaking from my experience.
