I don't agree.

Would much rather keep TCU than try and have a rivalry with UNT.

We ought to open the season right playing Lamar. Everyone on the team should be in double figures.

This doesn't seem like a major upgrade. The bad teams really hurt the average. Any word on what tournaments we are hoping for?

All of the major pre conference play tournaments have been finalized. This schedule is a slight upgrade over last year's non-conference. Indiana and Michigan are good in name only. They are projected to be middle of the pack Big 10 teams. Indy lost Vonleh (draft), Sheehey (Grad), Hollowell (transfer) and Etherington (transfer). Michigan loses Stauskas, McGary, Jordan Morgan and Glenn Rob III. Yes, they will have Walton, Levert and Horf coming back, losing Nic really hurts.

So UIC was a home and home after all. I'd rather have played UNT or even Texas State again than Texas Southern. But oh well.

I'm wondering if schedule is actually easier since we no longer play Louisville twice

Home opener is the night before the Homecoming game vs. USF. Could make it an even hotter ticket w/large group of alumni back in town.

Why did we remove TCU? This will give them more reason to drop us from Football and leave us stuck with UNT...

I'm not sure this is the time for Hart trying to strong arm TCU.
I don't care if we had to play them in a high school gym, I don't care if we play in them in a 7-11 parking lot in Oak Cliff, hell, I don't care if we had to play them underwater using snorkels in shark infested waters of the coast of Somalia, I want to play them and I want to smash them as often as we can.

Maybe they don't want to play us this year as they will suck and playing in a 2500 person gym

Total guess here - but they really don't like getting punked by us - and next year might have been a 40 pt beat down. I would not be shocked if this was on their end. Hopefully not a pre-curser to football - but unfortunately football is the reverse.

by the way - one of our problems with last year was that everyone thought Wyoming, RI and A&M would be tougher games - closer to top 100 teams - and they all sucked. Not our fault but we paid the price.
We can guarantee we get in regardless of schedule strength if we just pound everyone. UConn included.
