Bennett PC

Postby RGV Pony » Tue Sep 20, 2005 8:43 pm

Anyone else see the archived video of today's PC? Was it me, or does Coach B look a little more "defeated" than usual? Maybe I'm reading into things...then again, when you figure than thirty something times out of forty something the guy's been explaining a loss, it must take some kind of toll.

Things I noticed...

The players were intimidated by the environment.
They made the decision to empty the bench w/ 8 minutes to go in the 3rd.
There were things "to be learned" from Saturday.
Most of the players haven't won more than one game in Sept...ever
Pluses I agreed with were that Romo could've possibly started 12 for 12 w/o the drops, and that for those passes to be made, the protection must've been ok.

His numbers were were pretty damn good against A&M, and without the drops, they would have been plenty good to win a bunch of games. Romo had a very good game -- let's see another one Saturday.

I was wearing my SMU visor in the grocery store yesterday and an Aggie came up to me and apologised for the whipping the Aggies put on SMU Saturday. Of course he was loving every minute of it.

I didn't think he looked defeated. I thought he looked more serious than usual, less jovial.

And a fellow that works in my building wanted to know if I was learning the Aggie War Hymn. I told him I already knew it, but I couldn't repeat the words at work.
Just send 'da money.
