Are you referring to me or ECM?

86 - I get what you are saying , but rarely does anyone have all of the information or facts possible.

That is why we have legal standards such as "reasonale suspicion " (Terry stop), "probable cause" (arrests), "preponderence of the evidence" (most civil cases)...

Even the highest legal standard possible is simply "beyond a REASONABLE doubt" - would a reaosnable person, using regualr common sense, doubt the facts as presented. It does not mean an absolute certainty.

I consider myself a reasonable person, and my experience and common sense tell me this thing STINKS of an NCAA investigation.

I'm just saying, if it was all about taking care of momma, why was he enrolling in classes and planning to be here this year? The timing of this fiasco tells me all I need to know.

It is a shame all the way around.

Check out his Instagram account. Hard to sympathize with a guy saying he wants to help his struggling mom out when he posts photos of them wearing Rolex watches and all dressed up.

There is more to this than any of us will ever know bc any investigation into him will now be closed and most likely sealed unless the impropriety was at the university level, and I doubt that he would walk for that reason.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

wow, I coulnd't believe this when I just logged on and saw this. first thing, i though was the "curse of SMU athletics" comes back to bite us in the [deleted] again.

when you read through the lines, it's clear this isn't a hardship issue, and he's protecting himself. not a stretch to say there were improprieties on his part or the part of his handlers. No one goes through this and decides in July that now he needs to go to europe. if there were financial issues, there were financial issues from the beginning. But I do have to believe that this all came to the surface now, and he is doing what is best for him at this point in time. BUT once he does make it pro, he also better pay back SMU for the schollie that was given to his brother, although that's the least of our concerns as I'm sure we'd much rather have that open schollie for someone that will actually help SMU on the court this coming year. Terrible day.

I don't see a lot of that on his instagram account.

Yeah bad day all around. I'm not sure he's thrilled going overseas all of a sudden when he could stay at home and be a hero for a year and up his stock more. Paying back for his brother's scholarship? gtfoh

If anything good can come from today, we may have just rid ourselves of FTHP/B12Mustang once and for all.

Wow. I guess never we thought anyone would be such an [deleted] as to flaunt our Member rules so egregiously.
