NBC 5 says at new gametime Huricane will be "well in-land". Expect to see all 20 of you at the game. This really is silly to play a game under these conditions or even the POSSIBILIITY of these conditions.

Well, it works out better for me. Now I can go during the squids' naptimes and Mrs. Dooby (who looks nothing like Kathy Bates or the current red x) won't get too upset that I am going and leaving her with the kids.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Stop the dogpiling on the athletic department. It's wise to move to 1pm

I know you want a Friday game, but would you prefer a cancelation to playing on Saturday under these conditions?

Despite throwing a wrench into some people's schedule, this is a smart move. The storm supposed to start arriving Sat night.

All this reminds me of a sign a Tulane student was holding up at the MSU game on TV. It said "LOST: School Mascot. Last seen loose on campus."
Yes, tragedy, yes exploiting a bad situation...but somehow given the mentality of most on this board I think some would appreciate the kid making light of a bad situation.
At any rate...is this thing going to be on CSTV or PAX this weekend? Gameplan?

Because they know a hell of a lot more PonyFans read this site.

Stallion just buy a cheap parka or better yet buy a garbage bag and put it over your head.

I bet Stallion will be there. It is the other 15,000 that will decide not to go that is troublesome. I am one of them. Due to Saturday morning committments in Little Rock, I could not leave until the 2:00 flight. Had to cancel on this one but still feel the change of time is in the best interest of safety.

not too difficult to understand that game has been moved up to accomodate players and fans pending what is coming. If you can not adjust your schedule then quit complaing about it and try to support it.

Stallion, bring an extra cheap Sears poncho. Offer it to the cutest, wettest, hot (legal age) babe that you see. Then after the game you can say, I have a dryer and fireplace at home, lets get you out of those wet clothes. And let nature take its course.

I am sorry you chose to use your first post to criticize the most avid supporters of SMU.

hey I've been there for 42 years-and I'll be there Saturday. I guarantee you there will be a throng of people who will not be there. I just think the game should be moved to Friday for the convenience and safety of the fans and players. I'm no weather man but the storm eye is projected to be well inland on Saturday at 1:00-the game ends at about 4:30. The outer bands of the storm go for miles. If you're going to move things up anyway do it to a time when there is little chance at disruption. I guess we shall see.

I propose we change the time to 11 AM so that all the crybabys can go back to their wet nurses by nap time.

I love it when girls wear "throngs"
See you at the game!
