It costs me approximately $300.00 to attend each home game. My job allows me to do that and my job obligations do not allow me to leave town before 2:00 on Saturday. I am sorry I can not attend and I stated it was in the best interest to change the time. I will be at the next one.

As a matter of fact I won a contest drawing at the Bennigans in Plano for the premiere of FBDO. Got plane tickets for 2 to Chicago, tickets to a Cubs game and $100.00 cash. Still have not seen the movie though.

Well, thiwngs only get worse. My business trip gets moved from Sunday to Saturday because of the storm and now I miss my son's baseball game and listening to this on the radio. Also, why can't this game be played in the middle of a tropical storm or rain showers? Nobody is going to melt and I remember playing games in driving rain when I was younger. As long as there was no lightning we played. I always looked forward to weather impacted games. This is an artificial turf facility that should be capable of playing in a hurrican. It's not like this will impact our kicking game.

Hey Dooby, I don't think I like that kid as much anymore if you know what i mean.

Mrydel, in my earlier post i was not criticizing anyone, just trying to state the obivous in what is happening. A lot of fans will not be able to make it due to jobs, family functions already planned, prior engagements and so forth. Just hate seeing the athletic dept being bashed for something they are trying to deal with and make it possible to get this game played. It will iconvenience some people

Forecasters are predicting tornadoes are possible for the North Texas area and that is why it can not be played at later time.

The change in time is a good thing. No one wants to play it sat night..probably would have been better for all involved if it was held tomorrow night...but since it won't be, I will be there with a parka and a beer ready to scream.

How far is Tyler from Dallas? The latest projection has it hitting Tyler as a tropical storm at 7am on Sunday morning.

The latest I can find from CNN is that the storm is due to hit here at 7 AM on Sunday. I give my blessings to playing at 1 on Saturday.

Yeah the storm keeps sliding further and further east. Last thing I read said this storm might end up coming ashore in LA instead of texas.

Weather channel guy says Tulane @ SMU - "it will be about a hundred degrees down there - tremendous heat".

I hope you did not think I was criticizing the Athletic Department. As I stated, I agree with the change. Selfishly I wish it were not having to be changed. Even more so I wish for the sake of those in Galveston and Houston area that it was not being changed. That would mean no hurricane. Lets just all back the change and those who can go cheer a little louder for those of us who can not be there. I will even miss the call of "third down thunder".

Cantori was on information over/underload. I think he was referring to the weather at the A&M game.
