What I've seen so far it says 15-25 mph for Saturday.

Most analysts and "experts" seem to think wet conditions favor the less talented team, if only because a water-caused miscue (fumble, missed tackle, etc.) could allow a lesser team a chance to make a big play it otherwise might not. Based on the spread, I guess the folks in Vegas think we're the less talented team. Break out the parkas and the hats -- and cheer like hell, for Tulane before the game for their heart and resilience, and for the Ponies to pull out a win!

The team with the best running game usually has an advantage. Also, a slower team gains a little in rain. Artificial tuff seems to reduce the above-mentioned advantages.

DM will be the difference. Ponies now favored in my book.

Also, the fact that the wind will be trouble for both kickers kind of negates the field goal situation where we have struggled so much...

Our kicker negates himself. Maybe the wind will actually help him.

uh, sorry. the snapper and the blocking have negated our kicker this year. most of the mishaps don't fall to him.

Sorry for the confusion, I'm a Tulane fan. We used 3 kickers against Mississippi State and that led to a kickoff out of bounds and a pathetic onside kick that hit the kicker's leg.

Who really gives a flip. Aren't there more important things to worry about right now?

Glad to hear that Tulane's Kicker is about as good as SMU's. Should be quite a matchup - I am looking for a 10-7 SMU Win that will include numerous missed FGs on both sides . . .

What is the under on this one anyway? I think I will take it!
