Burning a Redshirt today

On the pregame radio show Phil said Patrick Handy will be on the punt team. Hopefully this isn't just the beginning of one by one redshirts...remember it was supposed to just be Givens.

I thought Handy was a bright spot, he seemed to get good burst off the Defensive line. I think he can be a major contributor during his 4 years here. I think I heard that Bryce Hudman has played also, so that's givens, handy, and hudman that are playing as true Freshmen.

I say burn'em. We are beginning conference play, and its obvious we couldn't be any worse off.

No what Bennett does is burn their redshirt and then play them 3 plays a game. Unless a freshman is going to get at least 25% of the snaps at his position sit his [deleted] down.
