Great Promotion Idea

I think we all know its going to be challenge to fill in the empty seats for the rest of the year especially for the TV Games. Its not easy to get kids, woman or children to attend anymore even with a free ticket. Just had a friend make an excellent suggestion. For the next TV Game we could have "Bring Your Dog to the Game Day" Put a bright red shirt on Rover and sit him next to you on the Bench. Might work on the far shots to fill in the empty seats but I'm worried it might raise a few eyebrows on the tight shots when the cameras pan the crowd. Oh well its been a long day.....but the thought of filling up those seats with the always loyal Man's Best Friend made me chuckle

the Charleston Riverdogs class A minor league baseball team has run their "dog day afternoons" for years (since Mike Veeck took over). I've never attended, but they usually draw decent crowds. You are right about the challenge of getting anyone to attend the ECU & Rice games, though. Time to start giving tickets away in hopes someone might actually use them. How about what the Cowboys did in their early days? Dad buys a $5 seat and gets to bring up to 5 kids FREE.

We don't have a dog but we do have a cat. Is a cat ok? I'm not sure about cats and dogs on the same day. Should we have a separate cat day?
