I have a few gripes about Ford Staduim besides the product on the field.

Replays on the Jumbotron. Questionable plays and calls never seem to get a replay. What igit is running that thing.

TV's in the concession area. Some are ripped out and none are working?! That was so cool at the opening game against Kansas a few years ago.

Concession workers- They are slow and don't give a crap!!

The sound system is UNBELIEVABLY loud. It would be nice if that put speakers on the East side as well as the West so they could keep the volume down. I have some fans whose spouses stay away from the games because they can't take the OBSCENE noise!

Good thing they don't have to go to a real football game in the SEC where you actually have crowd noise!!! Ford stadium is about the most silent college stadium around!!! If it's too loud......then your to old!!!!

There is a lot of [deleted] on this board about the old f*rts who don't get up and jump up and down and yell real loudly at the games...well at least they show up for the games which is more than you can say for the majority of the sudents and a lot of the younger alums. I'm fast approaching the old f*rt classification, but I will still be at the games and as much as I would like to act like a young and crazy student, I suspect I won't be able to. I will at least have my butt in a seat and my cash for tickets will be in SMU's coffers. So back off on the [deleted].

This thread is a reflection on the AD. Often it's said running an ath. dept. is like running a corporation. Mark Cuban said the same thing when taking over the Mavericks. If the AD gave two sh*ts, or hell if M. Cuban was AD, do you think ANY part of the game day experience would be shoddy? Unlikely.

I used to sit on the fifty every game back when I used to go to games. Those seats did not belong to me, but to some old farts who did not go to the games.

They aren't loud enough. You cannot hear anything on the east side of the stadium. I haven't understood a single thing from those speakers sitting on the east side.

Putting them on both sides would cause major echo. Maybe they should be mounted on the scoreboard instead.

That is totally a biased opinion on your part jt. I seriously doubt you know who's seat you were sitting in. It could just as easily have been one of the younger alums who like you no longer goes to the games.

Here are my gripes:

1. Sound system either blows you away and makes your head hurt on the West Side. East side hears nothing.
2. Mustang Vision is a joke. Give me replays and accurate/current score updates. If I can get them on my phone then you can get them in the booth.
3. "It's Time For Some Third Down Thunder" This gets so freaking old so fast that I personally want to destroy the audio system. Put a little effort into actually putting together some production value.
4. Would love to see what is going on when I am buying stale and salty popcorn. Can we actually make the popcorn on site as opposed to buying it bulk before the season starts.
5. Get Thundersticks in everyone's hands. My son can wake the dead with those things.

You forgot one. The team wearing the white jerseys generally scores many more points than the guys wearing red/blue jerseys.

No kidding. They lower them at the end of EVERY game now. Like there's a reason.

Maybe they just want to make sure they're lowered so that no one will hang themself...or the coaches...from one after a game.
