GUTLESS PERFORMANCE PART 2

Postby ALEX LIFESON » Sat Sep 24, 2005 7:17 pm

That has to be the WORST performance by an SMU team, I have ever witnessed in my 35 years of following this club! This team QUIT before the game started. No fire, no intensity, we got a big bag of NOTHING! For yet again wasting our time, effort, and money, and more important... our hearts and emotions into this lousy bunch of %@#*)@@!$%!!! We should get a full refund for this crime! EVERY phase of this team sucked.......AGAIN!!! If you sunshiners try to spin this LATEST disaster...you should be horse whipped along with that PATHETIC excuse for an O-line! Our QB's didn't have time to scream....PAPER or PLASTIC? before they were sacked!!!

Stallion,

That is quite possibly the funniest post you've ever made.

see they've scored 21 more points since you've been on the computer 49-0 Half. SMU 127 yards Tech 49 points(at Half). It could be close.

Yep, SMU is being held back by some we need to get rid of.
We hear that it's some of the faculty or some on the "Board".
Hell, fire them all!

In quotes following the Tulane blowout, our players admit that they played with no desire or fire. What I can't understand, is how they can go through those rigged winter off-season conditioning programs, spring ball, and work their aces off all summer, and take a giant dump on the field on Saturday!?! You only play eleven games, and you don't have enough fire or PRIDE to get up on game day? The talent on this team is not where we would like it to be, but it is better than it has been. The fact that cannot be denied is that this team is not getting better, they are worse! Special teams that fall apart week after week, are a sign of poor coaching. The players and coaches, must share responsibility for this smelly pile of horse dung!

EVERY SUMMER WE ARE TOLD HOW WE HAVE RUN OFF
THE "BAD APPLES AND QUITTERS" ON THE TEAM.
AFTER THE DISGRACE AT AGGIE LAND, AND THE SPINELESS GAME WITH TULANE, LOOKS LIKE A FEW DOZEN WERE MISSED!

Does that mean fans who quit on the team should be removed, too?

If this program continues on the current path, there won't be many fans left! And that number seems to be shrinking by the day.

What's a "rigged" winter workout and what "ace" are they working off?

I guess kicking [deleted] in 7 on 7 Tournaments means just as much as I suspected.

I can be run off if the athletic department would refund my season tickets for the remaining three home games. There will be plenty of seats around me being taken up by ticket holders who paid nothing for theirs.
