One usually puts the boards on the outside of the glass. It really makes a big difference in keeping the glass from breaking.

That has to be one of the funniest pictures I have ever seen. Maybe they are smarter than we give them credit. This way they can have their insurance pay for new windows, but they won't have to clean up the glass from the inside of the store. The City of Collie Station can clean it up from its sidewalks.
