ANyone notice the size of a couple of the WR in the LSU UT game? The announcers mentioned how some were HS QBs.

Chris Phillips would be an excellent possession receiver (Michael Irvin type).

No, it was nothing like pro football, it had passion and the crowd was loud and involved. The players cared and there was pageantry.

All in all, it was light years ahead of the pro game.

OMG! Does this mean that SMU is playing pro ball?

SMU Mustangs: appear to lack passion
Crowd at Ford: quiet and uninvolved
Players: appear to not care
Pageantry: none

Genius.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Man I was thinking last Nite-how great Tennessee v. LSU- two traditional programs- great looking jersies that have been worn continuously since I was born-and they look 10 times better than any crap SMU has worn for the 15 years.

i was thinking the same thing about uniforms last night and while watching the usc game. even the usc cheerleaders have a great classic look.

between the new logos, uniforms, and w/l records, smu is looking more and more like a generic mid-major.

I loved the 60's uniforms, except that the helmets from a distance were hard to distinguish from Arkansas. It was very evident at Blue/Gray games and Senior Bowl games back then, when you were trying to pick out the Mustang from the Hog. I liked the 80's uniforms because the white helmets with the red pony were distinctive compared to every other school. I wish we had kept those uniforms intact forever. But every new coach feels the desire to be a fashion designer.

the other teams are complaining about not being able to see them -

UH'S SILVER UNIFORMS UNDER REVIEW BY WAC

The Western Athletic Conference will review the University of Hawai'i's football team's use of silver on white road uniforms, commissioner Karl Benson said last night.

The uniforms, which debuted at the UH-Michigan State game, have drawn opposition from some media outlets who say the numbers are difficult to read, making player identification difficult.
