Maybe the QB Guru is smart enough to resign on his own. It has seemed like June personally sees himself as hall of fame coach and seemed slighted when everyone didn't build a statue of him after taking SMU to a bowl game. Then LB walks in, a true hall of fame coach, and shows what a true program turn around looks like. Maybe June finally sees how mediocre he is, and will simply leave.

Hey, I see Dave Wanstedt in the studio. I know he could recruit better in Dallas than JJ, especially after this disaster. How much would we need to pay him?

Maybe not first on list, but who is available in mid season. We need someone to recruit right now, we are already about to lose another year if we wait around.

If he can circle DFW with recruiters, hire him. At this point it doesn't take much to be better. Get a coach young or old that has passion.

If we don't score again, doesn't this coach have to resign? I mean, why would he want to hang around for Aggies 86-0 and Frogs 71-0? Just go away and let Larry Brown take over till we find a replacement. At least Ford might sell out.

Would you resign and leave the remainder of 2 million on the table? I wouldn't and June will not either. Hart has to fire him to get rid of him.
