Mack Brown.
Or if you want to get a little bit sleazy, Butch Davis is looking for work.

@corbettsmithDMN - It should be noted SMU has 68 Texans on roster, lowest # for 12 FBS schools in Texas.

This resignation doesn't appear to be a sudden decision. The email to alumni was just too well put together to be something that wasn't pre determined. With that assumption, I assume that Hart already has a list of potential candidates and is working on it.

No one predicted the last hire, we're going to have a hard time predicting this one until we know the budget.
For the most part, I'd prefer a currently employed coordinator to an unemployed re-tread (despite the fact that I LOVE Larry Brown)
I want:
• Enthusiasm. I want someone who is glad to be here, and is excited at the opportunity.
• Recruiter. Can't win without the horses... and our stable is pretty bare.
• Texas ties. See above.
• I don't particularly care if he can coach his way out of a paper bag, as long as he's smart enough to hire good coordinators.

Stallion doesn't think I'm a stinkin' genius anymore.

I've heard Rick Neuheisel.
Fun Fact: His son Jack is apparently on our roster at WR. (How did I not know this?)
