Big Ten the #6 conference?

It's pretty bad. There's a few schools in the B10 that can play and that's it. And I'm not sure any can really play with the top tier teams in other conferences. The middle/bottom-feeders are just plain awful.

As for ECU, anyone insinuating that they aren't pretty damn good has no idea what they're talking about. Not a surprise they beat V Tech, their only loss is at South Carolina, the team that just beat Georgia and they gave them a run for their money. Last year, that ECU team was very, very good, shredded a pretty solid OU team in the bowl game and beat North Carolina on the road. Probably the best of the non-P5 teams.

I don't know who #5 would be - it wouldn't be the American.

But I will tell you, if somehow the best MAC team were to play and beat, say, Ohio State or Michigan State, than I would SERIOUSLY consider the MAC to be on par as a conference this year with the Big 10. If someone would look up the Big10 vs. MAC record this year, I am pretty sure it's not a blowout - the MAC has won a few.

Michigan faces off Minnesota today. If Michigan can't fend off Minnesota early then the Big Ten is surely in trouble.
