He was in pads but didn't play? Has he been written off?

Mason says he wants to see him play again. I think he's dinged up but nothing major. Probably Morrison's choice not to use him.

I think it would have been cruel and unusual punishment to put him out there with this team against his former teammates.
We will see a new style offense, probably with him at QB by the time conference play starts.

I liked the look of more power sets..line As an offset fb or gaines as a down te. I think that really helped the running game. But this offense needs to be scrapped stat.

He has a shoulder issue. The plan going in may have been to swap him in at some point, but wise decision not to risk it when we fell behind so quickly. Put the walk on in the game, get out of there, and move on to the next one. The next three games are going to be learning experiences. Take the bye after ECU and then push for the rest of the season.

That is absolutely not true, where do you come up with this nonsense? Did you not see him fully dressed out on the sideline today? He will redshirt and then be a monster next year in the new offense.

As a matter of fact, Gresham was the dominant offensive player THIS WEEK in the new full contact, live 11 vs. 11 scrimmages for the young guys that aren't getting a lot of reps during the week. If he was never going to play again why would he be out there going full speed in a full contact scrimmage?

So where again did you 'hear' this nonsense?

Agreed Myrdel. Still not 100%, although close, and probably just saving him for conference play.

Did everyone see the actual Pistol formation Mason through in there for 1 Play? A preview of things to come in conference I believe.

Hopefully Mason is giving this offense, Morrison & Phillips, just enough rope to hang themselves before he over-rules them for the start of conference play.

If that was Davis in there for those same Krstich scrambles for positive yardage, he would have doubled or tripled his production.

I was thinking the same thing watching him scramble

I did notice that and remember Mason saying that as a DC, he hated facing the pistol and thought it was the toughest offense to defend
