Pony Fans:
I think it is important to point out that even if we eaked out the win today, we were still horrible. If we somehow beat an couple other crappy teams, we still need an uprising that will lead to change. Personally, I am a fan of Bennett (I am sure a minority). We need to figure out how to make a case to the AdMin relax admission standards for athletes.

"Add to the diversity of the campus", "deliver a more well rounded campus experience". It works at Duke (cheaters) and Stanford.

They let in Meadows dancers (and I am glad they do) that are below the academic standards of the general student populationfor the reasons above, why not real football and basketball players?

I have to agree with you. I am a meadows grad, in music. I was given a phenomonal scholarship as well as a relaxed admission standard. I did have good high school grades, a 3.7, but my ACT was very low, not anywhere SMU's required of 26-28 or whatever it is. If they could get me admitted based on talent then they should do the same for athletes.
