The real question should be ... if SMU wins another game, but no one is there to see it -- does it still count as a win? I can't imagine what attendance will be like after the UAB blowout we're going to receive next week.

I vote No, but only because I ultimately think it's for the best. Copeland and Bennett go, maybe some admin. and alum people will finally get some testes and stand up to the Board and get things changed. Bring in a good coach and AD, pony up the $ for something like that. Hey, you can always hope..

At the risk of sounding redundant, we are two WRs who can actually catch from being an okay team. They'll win 2-3 more, and I think they'll sneak up on someobody before this year is over, if the team doesn't wear down. Maybe it's because I'm a former player, but I see something in this team I haven't seen in years- the kids are playing with heart. They are playing a hell of a lot better than we've seen in years- this isn't the same old garbage. We are missing some key personnel still, but we're really not that far removed from 3-2. We're still going to take beatings, and I'm not sure how much longer Romo is going to hold up, since we have little in the way OL and no passing targets, but we're greatly improved over the last few years. We've got a long, long way to go. But we are moving in the right direction.
Support the Commitment! We're all SMU Mustangs fans- we should all be committed!

There is always the possibility of another win (miracles do happen) but I wouldn't count on it.

We win a couple of home games...

we lose a couple of road games...

Then we play in the Mausoleum during Thanksgiving v. UTEP...

Of course we'll win again this year, and it will be more than once. The team that played Marshall today looked like the team that beat TCU, not the team that slept through the Tulane game. We all know Snob likes to predict the sky falling, but the Ponies played hard today, and if they play like that all year, they'll win more than one more game.

Great, another 2 win season!!! It is time to expect more out of our football program. It is time that SMU adopt the TCU model as it is clearly working better than the model that we run our athletic department by!!!

I still think we win at least three, maybe four.

I believe that Romo will lead this team to at least 4 more wins.
