Break out the trick plays

Postby SmooBoy » Wed Sep 24, 2014 3:11 pm

When you have a lack of talent or face a team vastly superior, it seems natural to sprinkle in some trick plays. What in the heII do we have to lose? Boise often had a variety of plays that worked great (see Fiesta Bowl vs. Oklahoma). It would make for some more exciting football, and at least make the 3 and outs more interesting.

In theory sounds great, but much like tackling, if we haven't practiced it in the last 8 months, it will be hard to pick up in a week.

If we can't tackle or catch the ball, I'm not sure we can pull off the statue of liberty lol.

Maybe try the ol' "fake a heart attack" at midfield.

We would have to be driving at the end of the game and trying to take a lead to pull of a fiesta bowl type of statue of liberty

I say the game plan should be called the inexperienced video game football star. Hail Mary every play and don't even think about straying from the game plan.

I have spoken of the benefits of fake punt offense before. That will be my exhibit A.
