M-Soccer: SMU vs. Tulsa

SMU gets off to a big conference start in men's soccer as well with a match against Tulsa Friday night at Westcott Field.

The Mustangs (3-3-0) have had a nice early season, especially playing a ton of new players, with the best moment so far being the 3-1 pasting of Duke.

Tulsa (3-3-1) is also .500, with a overtime win against Virginia and a draw with Creighton being their high points.

Garcia scored the game-tying goal in SMU's come-from-behind victory over RV Tulsa on Friday. The sophomore also assisted on the Mustangs' fourth goal of the match and helped seal the win for the Bulls. Garcia led the team with three points and three shots, two of which were on goal.

Rookie of the Week
Mauro Cichero * Fr. * MF * SMU
Cichero scored the game-winning goal in SMU's 4-2 win over RV Tulsa Friday evening at Westcott Field. It was his first goal of the season. The freshman also tied the game-high with three shot attempts.
