OT: Worst college football stadiums

Any list that doesn't include the Liberty Bowl in Memphis is bogus, however.

I've driven by that Ball State stadium. It truly is amazing that a D1A football program is using that facility.
Back off Warchild seriously.

I've seen SanDiego State games at Qualcom and I don't know why its on the list. Fairly good crowd and it's loud.

This part made me laugh.

Apogee Stadium
Congratulations, North Texas, on having the first completely LEED certified stadium… in a state full of people who make money off of oil. This would be like the Denver police department bragging about their highly effective drug dogs. It’s no wonder only 20,000 show up to watch the Mean Green, since “Mean” is probably a word used to describe anything “green” in North Texas. The .451 winning percentage since 2009 probably doesn’t help either.

Wow! A tad harsh considering what they had with Fouts Field

Rice Stadium actually has great bones-and all these new stadiums are copying their idea of a visible field from the concourse. TCU, UH, Baylor all borrowed that from Rice Stadium

That was a terrible list. One of the author's main complaints is that you will get cold sitting in these stadiums in the fall.

I agree that was a horrible list. I seriously doubt the writer has ever been to those stadiums.

As a native Memphian I stand by the idea that the Liberty Bowl is a dump. Horrible location - right next to gang territory - outdated, no media room or inside interview facility, the city owns it but has been trying to sell it for a decade - just horrible.

That was a bad list. The AlamoDome is a great stadium to watch a game in. They just picked on teams with attendance issues.

Team is under .500, weather is too cold, attendance below 30K, obviously all mean that the stadium sucks.

I loved seeing games at Rice. Excellent stadium if you can deal with horrible restrooms
