Tim Davis is on site. Rossley waiting to be cleared. You have a oline coach and a OC and qt back guru right there. Probably going to be some friction there before the season is out anyway. Mason needs to nip it in the bud now. If he had confidence he the Morrison he wouldn't bring other people in. Needs to make a positive move now.

1989 team of 45 freshman beat NTSU 35-6 -so that's a 67 point swing

I agree, but also remember that 1989 was playing with the luxury of being a member of the SWC. With that, came the benefit of getting (recruiting) better athletes. Sure it was post DP but I think the caliber of player SMU was getting was better. We do what we do.

But that team was made up of a lot more students than athletes.......those players all had to meet the same entrance requirements as the regular students. Stallion has discussed that model many times.
