What do you expect for a guy who played at Notre Dame and for the Redskins?

i heard joe t. say that and thought 'what a doofus'. he is an egotistical moron. you know how most announcers say 'i was talking to so-and-so yesterday and he said blah blah blah' and it's cool, that's their job. doesn't bother me when madden or anyone else does it, but when joe t. does it, it GRATES ON MY NERVES.

Actually, as much as I dislike Theismann as an announcer, I like him better than Madden, who I think is the most overrated, overhyped voice this side of Brent Musberger. And I'm not sure he's better than Brent, which is a serious indictment. Theismann is awful, but Madden and Musberger are a hell of a lot worse. They're terrible.

Who's the guy on 1310 who helps announce the SMU games that says "he did a great job", "the defense did a great job", "the lineman did a great job".....

Heck, if all it takes to be an announcer is to use one adjective for every down, then I could give it a try!!
