we are playing better today than we did against UNT. I think TCU would beat UNT, but it might be a pretty competitive game. I'm sure TCU would rather schedule us than UNT (much safer when they desperately need non-conference wins since joining the Big XII). Patterson has been a hero at TCU, but if they continue finishing near the bottom of the Big XII, their fans will get anxious. Everyone wants to win but somebody has to be the doormat. We've occupied that position long enough, haven't we?

Ok then.

I just don't understand how you quantify that smu is playing better today than against unt. The disparity in total yardage is much more lopsided than it was vs unt. I watched that whole game and you guys gifted unt a ton of points.

Our offense is better today than against NTSU, regardless of the numbers. It is still the worst in the nation, but better.

we couldn't move the ball, we fumbled and bumbled and showed zero heart and effort against UNT. You didn't watch that one as a Mustang fan. This team has improved under Mason but it's difficult to see statistically because we might be the worst team in FBS this year and I think you guys are more talented than UNT

Yes, we are # 124.8 now instead of 125th. We get bonus points for almost scoring.

TCU would blow UNT out by 30. you guys are nuts. UNT was the team that didn't look good beating us by 43

That's my thought also. UNT scored because SMU gave them points....not because they moved the ball up and down the field.

I am not praising them just acknowledging stats.

No. Just honest. I think they are going to get crushed in the big 12. They didn't seem like much at all. Just comparing to Baylor, A&M and even UNT.

We didn't show up for UNT. At least we played hard today. TCU would blow out UNT. UNT is not very good. We just made them look better than they are.

All that really matters was the showgirls were there.
I was surprised so many of the TCU fans left early. If we had BCS bowl wins and were beating TCU 42-0 in Ft. Worth I can't imagine leaving.
