Re: Official: SMU vs. TCU Thread
I'm just glad we're having the most productive offense so far this year against the Frogs. Frogs defense must be really bad to allow us over 200 yards of offense.

This game is going to ruin our number one ranking in red zone scoring.

they actually have a pretty good defense (after all, they did shut us out); we should be encouraged that we were able to move the ball against them. Gives us hope that we might be able to compete with the other doormats on our schedule later in the year

We should not be encouraged about anything. Period. I respectfully disagree with anything "encouraging" when we are almost 200 to 12 on the year. There is absolutely nothing to look back at this year so far. The fact we are reaching so deep for something positive truly shows how far we have fallen.

Now that's funny.

kudos to those of you who are still attending the games and supporting the kids. I had considered making 3 games this year beginning with road trip to ECU next week, but can't bring myself to waste a weekend traveling up there. I think Homecoming will be my only game this year. Hopefully we can at least be competitive against USF

Rules say yes, like it or not.
I still call B.S. I challenge the NCAA to show one example of where when after a player lost his helmet, he stood by twiddling his thumbs while the other 21 players finished the play. That rule's an absolute joke.
I don't have a problem with blowing the play dead, but calling a penalty is ridiculous.

The goalline stand was impressive.
The punter running for a first down was impressive.
The early tackles for loss, the nose tackle shoving the center into Trevone Boykin, and the linebacker speed was impressive.
