Re: Saturday's other games
Looks like someone set them straight GO MUSTANGS!
Re: Saturday's other gamesWe'll see Reb! Roll Tide!
Re: Saturday's other gamesI still haven't seen anything to tell me we aren't going 0-12. Memphis was very competitive at Ole Miss and USF showed some fight at Wisconsin. Tulsa and Tulane might be the weakest teams on our schedule but unfortunately those are road games. Our guys' confidence will not grow after ECU takes us apart next week and Cincy does the same to us at Ford. Going to be a long year, but I'm a glutton for punishment so will be here following my Mustangs to the bitter end.
Re: Saturday's other gamesIt is official. Listening to Arkansas radio and the the reason they lost yesterday was due to a tripping call on the left tackle, away from the play. No call and Arkansas would have most likely put the game away. They say the officials were looking for a reason to flag him because apparently he was talking too much smack or something else that made the officials target him for a call. He obviously did trip and yes it was away from the play, but it was a good call.
But the record is intact. Arkansas has never lost a game that was not due to the officials. All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: Saturday's other gamesThe TD in overtime should've been stopped in its tracks for a false start. I guess the argument could be made that the wr can go in motion or whatever and was reset before the snap. Still impressed with how John L smith's trainwreck is being cleaned up
