The 2014-15 Equestrian season is finally here!
No. 10 SMU will be in action at the Willis Invitational in Waco this weekend, facing Fresno State Friday, Tennessee-Martin Friday/Saturday, and No. 6 Baylor Saturday.

After reining, SMU leads Fresno 5-4.

Details from SMU-Fresno State:
SMU won fences 3-1. Points from Schaefer Raposa, Sylvia de Toledo, and Emma Roberts. Roberts was named MOP.
Fresno State won the flat 2-1. SMU point from Emma Roberts.
Overall Hunt Seat score was SMU 4, Fresno State 3.
Reining ended 1-1. The SMU point was from Morgan Redwine.
Fresno State won horsemanship 3-1. Hannah McCain had the SMU point.
Overall Western score was Fresno State 4, SMU 2.
And yes, three rides ended in ties today.
Even though SMU won the aggregate score 1117-1076, Fresno State won the match 7-6.

SMU defeated Tennessee-Martin 8-8 (1168-1011 raw score tiebreaker).
Baylor beat SMU 14-1.
