Let us hope that it isn't on tv. How much can we take? UAB is favored by 21 and will probably win by at least 30. I suggest a day off or if you have to watch football watch USC. They are pretty good. I'm really sorry I didn't go to the Marshall game. I could have "supported" the Mustangs. It's all my fault. My new rule is that I don't go more than 30 miles to see SMU play. That leave TCU and UNT as the only teams I will travel to unless we can get Dallas Baptist on the scheduele.
Not that we get to watch USC in Dallas, even though im in Houston I neglected to tell the Satelite company that i moved so I still get local Dallas channels. After the decent ending to the Horrible ISU and Neb. game ABC went straight to the 6 o'clcok news even though at that point it was only USC by 3. Also the broadcasters for the SMU game where horrible, it was the local Herd team but they seemed to have trouble with the difference between Massey and Dorsey and anyone with a single digit had to be Martin. Also they were talking about Doak Walker, and they said his tie in to the game was one of their RB's was on the watch list, no mention that he played at SMU.
I saw the USC game along with the 2nd half of the SMU game at Two Rows. USC was down but great teams come back and that's what they did. For the first half I was at Fox and Hound then went to Pluckers which was unbelievably loud (tv sound) so we wound up at Two Rows. I'm glad we did. A very nice experience there (except for the game). There were a lot of USC fans at Two Rows. Only a few SMU fans--less than 10. F&H had about 20-30 SMU fans. Pluckers was packed but I don't know how many were there for the game.
Curious: what made you leave F&H?
