That is awesome.

Do you mean SMU team? I am sure others have been as bad as we are.

Found a few other teams that have lost 4 straight games by 37+ points. The 1981 Northwestern team even lost 5 straight games by 37+. So, even if it’s not realistic to cheer for a win over ECU next week, we can at least cheer for not losing by 37 or more again.

2006 FAU Owls
---- Clemson [48], Kansas State [42], Oklahoma State [40], South Carolina[39]

1988 New Mexico Lobos
----Wyoming [48], Texas-El Paso [37], Brigham Young [65], Hawaii [42]

1981 Northwestern Wildcats
-----Michigan [38], Wisconsin[52], Michigan State [47], Ohio State [64], Illinois[37]

1981 Oregon State Beavers
------Washington [39], Oklahoma [39], California[42], Stanford [56]

1970 Washington State Cougars
------Stanford[49], California [45], UCLA [45], Southern California [37]

1916 SMU Mustangs
------Texas [74], Baylor [61], Texas Christian [45], Texas A&M [62]

there's a pretty good chance we lose to ECU by 37 or more; they may be better than TCU

SFAIK the 222 - 0 GT victory over Cumberland, also in 1916, remains the most lop sided college game ever. John Heisman was the Tech coach that day which IMO gives perspective to how ATM and TCU subs finished the game against us this season. It is easy enough to find articles today about the Cumberland loss and I remember a Reader's Digest article when I was a kid. I've seen less about the 146 - 3 Rice & SMU game.

Maybe Stallion has a family story he can share.

FTR the 1989 game with Houston and the 73 point loss was more painful to me than anything that has so far happened this year although I understand that three 2014 games could have been worse. Considering that the 1989 Mustangs were mostly RS freshmen is also a judgement on the current state of the program.

In 1960 we only scored 31 points all season. At least we are on pace to beat that.

And one of those teams this year was UNT. If Hawaii had a police force that consisted of something other than lazy doped up pineapples, I'd say we should demand his attest for criminal incompetence. Maybe we can hire dog.
