And with those 'old uniforms' would also come the traditions and the history of yet another NCAA investigation. Again...NO TO NEUHEISEL!

[color=blue][b]You think Neuheisel would really come?
I would think he is "laying low" for awhile until some bigger program comes calling.
I can't believe Neuheisal would seriously consider Temple (if true) and not consider SMU.

What's wrong with Eric Schumann the DC at Tulane and our prior DC. He is an excellent coach. I would love to have him back.

As a UW fan, I find this talk of RN interesting and a little humorous. To think that RN would actually agree to come coach SMU in the state that it is, is a little wacky.
He is definitely charismatic and I think he would win at SMU. For those that claim he would tear down the program, are you crazy? Where are we right now?
Try to get RN, I just don't think it's going to happen.

he's such a pretty boy he probably doesn't even need to Coach but if he wants to get back as a Head Coach of a college team he may need to "serve time" at a place like SMU much like Mike Price is "serving time" at UTEP. But I agree he probably will have much better options.

Again, I am hearing he has a real interest in Temple. And I have a hard time believing Temple in its current state is more attractive than SMU.

Temple is a state school. Anybody in PA with a HS diploma can theoretically get in. Contrast that with SMU where you actually have to have some qualifications to get in. That's why he would consider Temple. Additionally, the MAC is pretty weak and thus with one good class and some JUCO transfers, he could probably win the MAC and be headed out to greener pastures. Lastly, Philly has some really good bookies that are easy find.

The A$M crowd is restless with Fran. They came very close to losing to Baylor again on Saturday. He could be out at A$M after this season. Anybody in favor of Fran coming here?

I hate Fran. I'd hire him in a second.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Again, Fran is an established commodity. He would not come here. Which is too bad.

I meant to say restless so I changed it. That would be a strange twist of fate. It would drive TCU nuts.

East, I like your logic.
But if RN is seriously considering Temple then he has a drug problem that exceeds his gambling fetish.

Would SMU really want to bring that kind of liability on itself by hiring New-weasel? There are dozens of great coaches out there that would bring more to the table than him. Besides, I'm still on the fence about Bennett. I don't think he's a bad coach, maybe just a bad judge of how to shuffle personnel. But in the college game, that's not always black and white.
