Re: Players with Potential for the New Coach
he was told to start using the technique he was taught because he was screwing up the defense. He mouthed off to a coach and was demoted to 3rd team

The exact words I was going to say. Shake It Off Moody
Re: Players with Potential for the New CoachBy position:
CB: Jesse Montgomery, Horace, Ajee (at nickel is better than outside), Trey Washington, JR Richardson S: Justice, Shakiel, Darrion DL: Wood, Hollie, Minor, Gentry, Lawler, Nabushosi, Saena. But we have to switch to a four man front because right now we are undersized at end outside of Zelt and undersized at tackle outside of Hollie. For the most part, the frames seem to be there, and part of me wonders if it is a June thing to not have the kids gain too much weight because he is afraid of their long term health. LB: Yenga if he moves outside. Tui, Horton might be interesting inside as the season goes on. Ngalo, Longoria, Mitchell, Rhone IF they either bulk up or we move to a 5 DB scheme with a hybrid LB/Safety. They are too small for a 4-3 or a 3-4 at this stage. OL: They are all young. Not their fault they are not able to play as a FR or So. It's easier to list the ones I am not sure about. Barns I am not sure how much weight he can put on his frame, so he is either center or bust for me. Fister I don't think is going to be big enough. I haven't seen Richards or Pursley to judge their frame. Chamagua I am just not sure if he has the athleticism to make it. But his frame is huge, so I probably keep him around and give him a chance. See my comment about the DL. QB: Everyone knows my thoughts here. I think there is talent on campus and I also think once we play against the smaller lines in conference the team is going to play better on offense and defense. RB: Durall, Nlemchi, Gresham, Line - nothing wrong with any of them. Not game breakers, but behind a good line they would be good backs. WR: Lancaster, Walker, Malone, Sutton, Joseph, Halverson, Gaines, Stewart. All are young and quick (exception of Gaines, but he has size). Haven't seen Ingram, so I don't know.
Re: Players with Potential for the New CoachJason B, you're listing basically every young position at each position.
When are you going to wake up and realize those DITR are the reason we are where we are today. Those are all the June recruits with no other legit offers and no interest from any school worth a damn, but yet you list all of them as potential impact players. I could have listed all the young players at each position, but I was trying to pick out the few DITR that may be impact players.
Re: Players with Potential for the New CoachZelt will transfer Juco. Has what it takes physically but not mentally.
Re: Players with Potential for the New CoachI hope Zelt gets whatever is wrong be it injury or whatever turned around.

Re: Players with Potential for the New CoachThe two starting OGs might be OK in a couple years. They shouldn't be playing right now. No one on the defensive line has really impressed. Wood plays hard, but is really too small. I think they'd be OK for back ups. Yenga would be OK at OLB. Sanders doesn't move well laterally. He is a straight line runner. We don't have many players that have all the qualities of a good D1 player. Some are fast, but too small, some are big enough, but aren't fast or quick. Most of the players have at least one good quality, but seem to be lacking in other areas. A team can get by with some players like this, but when the majority of the team is this way, you end up with what we have.
