So as I understand you 1) Despite handing SMU it's most lopsided loss of the season, TCU is no good -- not even as good as the two teams that defeated you by smaller margins. 2) You are now living vicariously through other Big 12 teams, whom you imagine will deliver a first-class arse-kicking that will in some unexplainable way avenge SMU. My. The butthurt is strong in this one.
If you could read I never said TCU was no good. Y'all just plain aren't as good as Baylor or A and M. Beat Baylor and prove me wrong. Come in higher than 5th and prove me wrong. You can probably take care of Kansas or Iowa State. Maybe y'all will be better than 2-7. Will y'all beat Oklahoma, OSU, Kansas ST, Tech? I don't know? Maybe you can win one of those. Seems to me you are likely to end up 4-5. You tell me where you expect to end up in the Big 12 and what you expect your Big 12 record to be. We will see if you have any guts to put a number on your season. Seems to me you are pretty butt hurt if you are taking offense to what some anonymous poster on a rival's board that you feel the need to visit to gloat on your lopsided victory. You sure put me in my place. How can I ever post on ponyfans ever again?

Not sure who has the case of butt hurt here. Just saying TCU was not that impressive, particularly early on - and particularly in comparison to Baylor and A&M , both of which are top level teams. UNT played us harder. Final score may not show it - but we moved the ball on the vaunted TCU defense much more easily then we did vs UNT.
TCU is not great this year - that's just a fact. Would guess a 5th place finish in conference. And not saying I am proud of SMU's road crowds these days - but frankly ours are understandable. Your crowd and your team were less than what I thought they would be. That is all. See you next year with a fresh start and a first step toward bringing this game back to what it should be.

Say what? Not even looking at the scoreboard, have you seen the stats? vs. Baylor 67 Total yards 0 points gave up 574 yards and 45 points vs UNT 276 Total yards 6 points gave up 353 yards and 43 points vs A&M 241 Total yards 6 points gave up 663 yards and 58 points vs TCU 245 Total yards 0 points gave up 614 yards and 56 points Baylor, A&M and TCU probably used their "vanilla" offense since there was no need to show what they really have.

Wow, those stats say it all. You don't need to add any conclusion or message line.
Sad, and the worst part is the average joe who follows SMU sporadically knew how much of a talent deficit we were building up over the last 3 years or so. There is absolutely no excuse for June taking a vacation for the last 3 or 4 years.

Lets see now. A weak schedule and playing a hopeless SMU team on a Saturday morning with OU coming to Fort Worth next week. Do you really think TCU was going to show anything against SMU and play with fanatical effort when the big game is next week? Watch out OU!

Even to TCU fans, they had a bad game.
But they still won 56-0... even Patterson said at half time the score should have been more then what is was and they were already up 28-0?

Also did nt get very impressed by the team. They were the fourth best team we have played this year, behind UNT even.
TCU has home games against Tech, OU, OSU, and KSU. We have road games at Baylor & Texas. Why should we travel to Dallas to see this garbage game?
If you were really as good as you say - y'all would have. The aggie's did.
The aggies don't get out much. Besides, its Dallas.

just wanted to add that TCU got 615 yards in the 3rd game after TCU installed a new offense under Doug Meachum (UH and OSU) and Sonny Cumbie (Tech). Not bad.

TCU is the third best team in the big 12 behind OU and Baylor. They will be top 25 and probably finish the season with 2 losses.

OU and then Baylor is a tough stretch. They get OSU at home and have a better defense. Tech is down. West Virginia I am not sold on and TCU is physically more gifted. KState is a home game. Kansas, UT, and Iowa State suck to close out the season.
As long as they stay healthy, I can see them running the table after the OU and Baylor games.

They go 1-2 vs baylor and ou. They have played close games with both the past 2 years.
Beat tech, texas and kansas
Beat 1 of the 3, osu, wvu and k state

How many times were we treated to the "it takes a while to learn, but just you wait?"
