Best Dressed Band on Casual Friday

I'm OK with Polo shirts if they would agree to never wear vests without a jacket.

No, because it is one of the uniforms that make them the best dressed.

Considering the sun-in-your-face heat, they should have switched from polos to wife-beaters at halftime. (sorry, not a PC description for that style shirt)

They weren't the best dressed band in the stadium when the game kicked off. It's stupid.

Agreed. Khakis and polo shirts do not a uniform make. I don't care how hot it is.

Yes, let's complain about CLOTHING while we ignore the rest of the train wreck that was Saturday.
Removing a uniform reduces the integrity of the best dressed moniker. It's not going to happen
but if you want to try to convince anyone:

When did they start doing Polo shirts and khakis? Last 3 or 4 years?

Yes. It's called PGA Peruna or some such.

We're not ignoring anything. There are about 300 "we suck" threads on the board already. This one happened to be about the band, so I mentioned one more way an SMU organization is acting like it's amateur hour.

Best dressed does not just mean most options. By that logic, why not just wear undershirts? How about adding capes? Maybe throw in comic glasses and mustaches?

Agreed. The only way that name is acceptable is if the band dresses like this.

Exactly. The house is burning down yet folks want to argue over the color of the drapes.

So the drapes and the sound they make while burning are not to your liking?
This shiz is so far down on the list. Fix game day presentation + on field production before going after people who bust their assets for supporting the school and athletes.
