My prediction was 59-10, 49 points in a 45 point loss.

I thought we might score 10 ponts in garbage time.

I was hopeful this year's Mustangs would surprise me and cover the spread against Baylor. I would have been pleased by that. Now I just hope we can beat UNT

UNT ran the ball 43 times and passed 17 times vs Texas. If they are really focus on the run, this could be a great showing for our D as the front 7 is probably the best part of our team. But SMU's poor O-line could easily put the offense out of the game. SMU should beat UNT but it will not be pretty.

bump. pretty much everybody surprised by how bad this season has started? anyone still think this team can win as many games as they predicted before the season began? this is more of a train wreck than I ever could have anticipated

I said I thought we would find a way to win 6. My prediction stays they same except I change would find a way to hope to find a way and change 6 to 1. Other than that I stay with my original prediction.

Looking back, I didn't even make a prediction but I feared coming in whether this team would be capable of winning on the road. I looked at UNT and UConn as the only realistic chances and with the home schedule, I assumed we could beat Memphis and USF but with all the unknowns, I feared we were capable of losing to everyone on our schedule.

Now I just want an announcement that JJ is gone...no later than Wednesday of this week

6-6 with a huge beat down vs Baylor. My advice, don't watch the first game. Football season starts September 6.

Apparently football season may have officially ended on September 6th with 43-6 loss to UNT. But I guess technically the team still has a chance to achieve your prediction.
